Attorney Gómez grew up in Puerto Rico and received her undergraduate degree in Elementary Education, Magna Cum Laude, from the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras Campus. She further distinguished herself by attending the Summer Institute for Future Global Leaders in the Caribbean at the University of Virgin Islands. Pursuing her passion for law, she obtained her Juris Doctor, Summa Cum Laude, from Interamerican University of Puerto Rico Law School. During her time there, she earned multiple awards, including the Judicature of Puerto Rico Award and the Criminal Law Awards from both the Colegio de Abogados de Puerto Rico and Interamerican University Law School.

Since becoming a licensed attorney and notary in 2003, Attorney Gómez has represented individual and corporate clients in administrative and civil actions, primarily focusing on Family and Inheritance Law in Puerto Rico. She is adept at providing public notary services and has strong litigation skills, handling various court proceedings. In addition to her legal practice, Attorney Gómez served as a Disaster Case Manager Supervisor. She provided legal advice, conducted outreach to companies, and monitored team performance, contributing services valued at $800,000 over 12 months.

Earlier in her career, Attorney Gómez provided legal and administrative support as Executive Director Assistant in the Legal Division of Future Entrepreneurs and Workers Training Administration and worked as a Paralegal Specialist for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development's Legal Division.
